The Nike Air Max Thea Men “Wheat” is scheduled to land in stores on winter, 2014. There is no denying that sneaker culture has again embraced the “wheat” theme. After the release of the Nike Air Foamposite One “Wheat”, and news that the Air Force 1 Mid of the same moniker is set to return, its clear that both color along with its impact on the season at hand have taken hold once again. That said, the style continues to spread throughout the Nike family of sneakers with the Nike Air Max 1 among the next selected. Fitted in a wheat/flax sueded upper, the shoe rest atop a bold black outer with corresponding wheat bottom. The look may be rather minimal at its core yet there is no denying the vast appeal of this shoe.
Nike and French apparel label A.P.C. are back at it with a brand new collaboration for the Holiday 2014 season. Spurning the more popular models that they’ve touched before, A.P.C. opts for the Nike Air Max Thea Pink ’14 re-issue that was brought back earlier this year. Their rendition brings forth its classic aesthetic of tonal color-blocking and rich suedes, with a stoic yet powerful grey sitting up top a white outsole.
When you think about the Nike Air Max Thea Black and all that the silhouette has meant to sneaker culture, its safe to say that its biggest contribution is by way of functionality. With wearability in almost any scenario and seemingly thousands of colorways to choose from, there’s never a question as to if the 90′s are a “good idea”. Adding to that notion today is a new pair dipped in colorful fall-ready tones certain to garner eye-popping appeal when paired with a fresh pair of selvedge or joggers. Adorned in a Summit White base, Beige Chalk tones maneuver through the upper while University Red accents along the branding, tongue and heel provide the perfect contrast. The look is finished with a white mid and black outer.
The Nike Air Max Thea UK “Restored” will release tomorrow, November, 2014. Initially dubbed the “Victory” the names change is either indicative of the grim outlook of the Lakers’ upcoming win total for the season or more of the shifting focus on Kobe’s need to prove himself post-injury. The shoe utilizes that signature Nike Volt, while a surprising dash of Metallic Gold arrives on the Swoosh.
The Nike Thea UK “On The Road” is headed to retailers tomorrow, November, 2014. Both KD and Kerowack, author of the seminal beat-genration novel On The Road, know something about travelling – Kevin spends at least 41 games away from OKC (add in 9 or so more when dealing with the firm fact that the Thunder are contending for a title in the playoffs) so he needs a solid colorway to hold him down throughout this season. With a black base, Hyper Crimson and Photo Blue flank the sneaker in an homage to the Thunder’s road unis – although we wouldn’t be surprised if a few Knicks laced this pair up too.
The Nike Air Max Thea “Restored” will release on winter. This colorway of volt/black/gold was earlier dubbed the “Victory due to the label on the inside of the tongue, but Nike has officially announced the “Restored” moniker representing Kobe’s return to the court and the restored focus at Championship glory.
Having undergone about as many changes as any one sneaker can possibly withstand without completely changing its complexion, the original basis of the Air Max Thea Women has been a creative canvas unlike any other over the past few years. Making way for technical updates along with advancements in material implementation, today we take a look at the Nike Women’s Air Max Lunar1 WR. Highlighted by a bold black upper, Action Red coloring makes its presence felt throughout the Swoosh branding as well as the outer. Tape technology also elevates the technical shoe married to the extreme comfort of the Lunarlon sole.
