Myles Garrett inks deal with adidas

Former Texas A&M star and likely No. 1 pick Myles Garrett has inked an apparel deal with adidas.The company announced its partnership with Garrett on Thursday afternoon ahead of the start of the 2017 NFL Draft, welcoming him to team adidas via Twitter.It's a familiar brand for Garrett as Texas A&M is also sponsored adidas zx flux racer by adidas. In 34 career games over three seasons with the Aggies, Garrett recorded 141 tackles, including 47 tackles for loss and 31 sacks.While there was some drama the past few days regarding who Cleveland planned to draft with the No. 1 overall pick, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plains Dealer reported Thursday that the Browns have decided to select Garrett.The first round of the 2017 NFL Draft is scheduled to get underway from Philadelphia on Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET.

Hours before the 2017 NFL Draft, Adidas has announced a multiyear partnership with projected #1 pick, Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett. Garrett, who comes from an athletic family (mother and sister were adidas zx flux college track stars, father played in the NBA), was the Dallas area Defensive Player of the Year as a high school senior.He went on to earn finalist honors for the Lombardi and Hendricks Awards as the nation's top defender as a sophomore and finished his college career at Texas A&M as a 3x All-American, ranking seventh all-time in the SEC in sacks.

Garrett joins adidas zx 700 the Adidas Football roster which includes last season's Offensive Rookie of the Year, Dak Prescott, the Defensive Rookie of the Year, Joey Bosa, Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller, Aaron Rodgers, DeAndre Hopkins, Josh Norman and others.
